On Anzac Day, the enamoured pair caught up in a pub in Sydney’s eastern suburbs before heading out on a dinner date, which led to them passionately kissing and cuddling on the street afterwards.
Seemingly smitten away from Summer Bay, it’s understood this is not the first time the pair have been out together as more than just friends. A source close to both confirmed they have “recently been on a few dates”, describing them as “singles mingling”.
Nicodemou is understood to have split with her partner, Adam Rigby, towards the end of last year, although neither has made any public comment about the status of their relationship. They had been together since 2018. Nicodemou has a son Johnas, 11, who she shares with ex-partner Chrys Xipolitas.
Stewart’s four-year marriage to Sarah Roberts, 39, who he also met on the set of Home and Away in 2017, has come to an end. Roberts, a DJ, revealed the news in an interview last month, saying “sometimes people just grow apart and that’s OK”.
Stewart has a daughter Scout, 12, who he shares with his former partner and former Packed to the Rafters co-star Jessica Marais. They became engaged in October 2010 but split in 2015.
According to WHO’s source, Nicodemou and Stewart are still in the early stages of their relationship. But in a new column Nicodemou wrote for Stellar Magazine on Mother's Day the actress dropped some subtle hints.
Sharing that her new life goal is “to embrace the beauty of imperfection, understanding that my best effort is always good enough,” she continued: “The pursuit of perfection in motherhood is a mirage."
“What truly matters is the happiness and love we share. Johnas [her son] doesn’t need the flawless, unblemished version of me; he needs the real, joyful, sometimes frazzled me, who chuckles at the nickname ‘Joan Ass’ and can turn a morning drop-off into an impromptu concert.”
