How has this year been for you?
Somebody said to me the other day that I’ve managed to get divorced, have a baby, get married, launch a new business career and live in between Bali and Australia. I quite like chaos – that’s why I had so many kids!
What have you learnt about yourself?
I think that going through divorce is a difficult, traumatic experience, so to be able to come through that and have this new life on the other side is really encouraging. If today is a bad day, tomorrow will be better.
How is your daughter Goldie going?
She’s a dream baby, but she’s not sleeping through the night. To be honest, having her with the other children is the most incredible experience – seeing their relationships evolve with each other.
How are you finding co-parenting?
It’s always learning. It is extremely difficult. I definitely know often Frankie will say, “Mummy, why do I have to go to this house and that house and this?” and it’s very confusing and I just have to tell her, “Frankie, you have so many people that love you.” It is a daily challenge and it is something we have to continue working on.
How does your husband support you?
I’m lucky enough that I met Adam six weeks after my break-up. He has been an incredible support and he’s just got this way of thinking that is so calm. Without him, I don’t know where I would be.
