Bloom— Stan’s latest mystery drama — stars two-time Oscar nominee Jackie Weaver from Silver Linings Playbook, beloved Aussie actress Pheobe Tonkin from The Vampire Diaries, Ryan Corr who starred in Hacksaw Ridge and Bryan Brown from Red Dog: True Blue.
The series is set in a sleepy country town that experiences a devastating flood, killing five of its most beloved locals. One year on, a mysterious plant appears which is soon discovered to hold the powerful gift of restoring youth.
It’s a series that values the scarcity of time, secrets and lies and centres around Gwen Reed (played by both Weaver and Tonkin through a series flashbacks)
Lucky for us, Stan has released the first teaser for the series which premieres on January 1, 2019.
