Whether you’ve been a die-hard fan for years or relatively new to football, it’s clear this year’s Women’s FIFA World Cup brought more eyes and attention to Aussie women’s soccer than ever before.
The whole country got behind our girls in gold as they made history, and whilst the cup may be over – that doesn’t mean you can’t keep watching and supporting the game.
Looking overseas, 10 Matildas stars are playing in the Barclays Women’s Super League – the highest league of women’s football in England.

Teagan Micah will also be in the league, playing for Liverpool FC, as will Courtney Nevin for Leicester City and Clare Wheeler for Everton FC. Alanna Kennedy and Mary Fowler have also been named for Manchester City.
