A comparative study says that aloe vera is a tropical cactus of the lily family that’s “widely known for its therapeutic effects and has been used as a natural remedy for centuries.”
When it comes to aloe vera for hair, there’s a lot of empirical evidence that suggests it can be helpful for dandruff, hair loss and as a conditioner.
“Aloe vera’s natural enzymes destroy the excessive dead skin cells and fungus that leads to dandruff (malassezia) while also leaving the scalp’s pH level balanced and hair moisturised,” says naturallycurly.com.
