After “two months in treatment,” former actress Amanda Bynes has broken her silence and shared a positive update on social media.
The She’s The Man star is moving on from acting to fashion and is studying further at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles.
“Update: Getting my Bachelor’s degree from FIDM,” she captioned a selfie of herself.
“Taking online classes, trying to get a 4.0 GPA :] 🎓 Looking forward to starting my online store in the future #goals.”
The 34-year-old also gave her fans a mental health update.
“Spent the last two months in treatment. Worked on coping skills to help with my social anxiety that caused me to drop out of school months ago. Back on track and doing well! I’m now living in transitional living and doing therapy during the week,” she continued.
Amanda also revealed that she’s still betrothed to her fiance Paul Michael.
“Still engaged to tha love of my life Paul 🌹 Hope you’re all staying safe! Love y’all!” she finished.
The social media announcement comes in the wake of her pregnancy announcement, that has since been deleted from Instagram.
Amanda made headlines when she uploaded a picture of a sonogram scan but the baby news turned out to be untrue.
In a statement to Fox News, Amanda’s lawyer David Esquibias confirmed that “Amanda is not pregnant and she is not residing in a sober living facility.”
He also told Entertainment Tonight, “She is sheltering in a safe location and is doing very well.”
Though Amanda and Paul are still engaged, it’s unclear if the couple will actually tie the knot.
An insider source previously told E! News that while Amanda’s parents know about her engagement, they are not approving her to legally marry Paul whilst her affairs and finances are still under their control.
The conservatorship has reportedly been in action since Amanda’s first personal and legal troubles that led to her checking in to rehab facilities.
