Despite the government copping flack for its bungled COVID-19 vaccine rollout, dozens of celebrities have come forward to get their jab in recent months.

The popular Bachelor In Paradise star is the latest celebrity to get the COVID-19 jab.
Jackson and a mate went to a medical centre in Sydney’s Bondi Junction over the weekend to get their AstraZeneca vaccinations.
“This isn’t a post telling you what to do. This is a post on my page… about my story, my body, my choice,” he wrote on Instagram.
“I’m confident in the information that has been presented to me about the effectiveness and benefits of this vaccine, which is why I rolled up my sleeve today.
“In my own opinion, vaccines are there for public health. There’s a reason we live in a society with an absence of the mumps, the measles and rubella diseases (+ many more) and it wasn’t due to marching in the streets. ✌🏼”
Jackson, who appeared on Angie Kent’s season of The Bachelorette, updated his followers on his progress 30 hours after getting the jab.
The 27-year-old told his 46,000 followers that he he hasn’t experienced “a single side effect”.
“No fatigue, no vomiting, no other symptoms of the flu. Perfectly fine,” he said.
Russell Crowe
The 57-year-old acting royalty received his first Covid vaccination on Sunday, July 11.
“How I spent my Sunday. Lining up with 7000 good citizens to get shot 1 of vaccine. Book yours via NSW health,” he tweeted.
Jimmy Barnes
The Australian rock royalty shared a photo of himself getting his first jab.
The 65-year-old told fans on Twitter that he felt “so far so good” after the jab.
“Jane and I got our Covid-19 jabs last night, didn’t feel a thing and so far so good. Be safe,” he wrote.
Sonia Kruger
As Sydney settled into lockdown in June, Sonia went to Olympic Park’s NSW Health Vaccination Centre to get her vaccination.
Sonia later shared a brochure which read: “I’ve had my COVID-19 vaccination”.
The Big Brother host didn’t reveal to fans whether she had opted for Pfizer or AstraZeneca.

Radio host Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes has finally joined the fully vaccinated club. The funnyman marked the milestone occasion with a picture in front of the medical clinic that gave him his jab.
Hughesy captioned the moment, “2nd AstraZeneca jab done. Fully vacced!”

The beloved comedian took to Instagram to discuss his choice get vaccinated and why it’s important to seek advice to make the right choice.
He wrote, “Got AZ 💉 Spoke to my doctor beforehand and it was his recommendation. I know this approach is not for everyone so seek your own advice and take whatever path you feel is right for you. Disappointed not to get a lollipop at the end 🍭 (only negative).”

The Project host candidly shared that she felt nervous about getting her vaccine, but she got through it with her husband by her side and some ice cream.
“First AZ shot done and literally didn’t feel a thing… So glad to finally have the first one out of the way. Hubby and I went together, and he got his SECOND shot at the same time,” Lisa captioned the post.

Ally received her vaccination next to her Today co-host Karl Stefanovic at the at vaccination hub at Olympic Park in Sydney.
The 42-year-old journalist passed her time by making fun of her co-host.
“Do you have any tissues? My colleague, he might cry when he gets his,” Ally teased.

Of course, Karl, 46, couldn’t help but make a self-deprecating joke when a healthcare worker asked him what age group he fell into.

Natalie, 53, got her vaccine on air, and she was a soldier who didn’t even flinch once as she looked at the Sunrise GP, who guided her through the process.

“I got it!. Get it if you can and let’s kick this in the d–k!” the comedian wrote on Instagram on July 21.
The 39-year-old didn’t disclose which coronavirus vaccine she received, but shared a heartfelt message to essential healthcare workers.
“The excellent front line workers that are keeping us safe are the sexiest SUPERHEROES in all the universes!” Celeste wrote.
David Koch
Sunrise host David “Kochie” Koch, 65, received his vaccine alongside Natalie on live television.
However, he struggled not to wince as he kept his eyes away from the nurse.
Carrie Bickmore
The Project host doesn’t just report on the community, but she also does her best to keep it safe.
Carrie received her Covid vaccine at the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne during the state’s fourth lockdown.
The 40-year-old documented her time at the facility with photos from before and after she received the jab, and she captioned the post, “Vaccinated 👍.”
Peter Helliar
The comedian joined Carrie with his wife, Bridget Helliar, to get his vaccination.
He posted a series of pictures on Instagram and paired them with a lengthy caption to encourage people to get their vaccine.
“First jab ✅. Thank you to all the staff who are running an incredibly smooth operation at the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne,” the 45-year-old wrote.

Her co-host posted a video of Fifi sitting in the waiting room as he quizzed her about how she feels about her impending jab.
Although Fifi insisted she was fine, there was nervousness within her laugh.

The 26-year-old finally got vaccinated with Astra Zeneca today, and promised to take her followers through the entire process, including any side-effects she felt.
