In a Bachelor Australia first, Nick Cummins has dumped BOTH final two contestants Brittany Hockley and Sophie Tieman.
First, it was Sophie he said goodbye to.
“I like you a lot Sophie and when I say those three words, the I love you bit, I want to mean it with all my heart,” he told her.
“I am not able to wholeheartedly commit to you right now. At this time our journey comes to an end.”
Not knowing Nick was going to dump Brittany too, Sophie said: “Britt is amazing, so yeah, I wish you all the best of luck. I do,” Sophie told Nick before the pair shared on final embrace.
Nick then gave a similar speech to frontrunner Brittany.
“I have strong feelings for you Brittany, and I know you’re ready.
“When I say those three words, I want to really mean it, and from this point forward I won’t be entering into relationships if I can’t give 100 per cent of me.
“Im not looking for girlfriend, I’m looking for a life partner.
“And right now, I cant give me to you.
“Right now i’m a little bit lost and I have to say this time has come to an end and let you go.”
The two girls later met up, where Britt revealed to Sophie that he didn’t actually pick her.
A shocked Sophie didn’t believe her. “Are you f****ing kidding me? I don’t understand why?”
Sophie summed it up well when she said “Oh well, Nick’s loss”.
The final scene shows Nick walking along the beach, telling viewers he needs to start his journey to find love again.
