Married At First Sight‘s Michael Goonan took his revenge attack on Mikey Pembroke below the belt – literally.
The ballsy jab was in retaliation for Mikey sleeping with Michael’s wife, Stacey Hampton during the social experiment.
After Stacey vehemently denied the cheating allegations, Dr Trisha turned to Mikey for answers.
‘Mikey, it’s your word against Stacey’s, so you’re saying you were intimate with Stacey. Stacey says you weren’t, and you seem really frustrated by this.’
The couples were shown footage of the previous night’s dinner party, when the allegations came out.
‘To watch that, and watch how far you guys have come, for you to sit here and her be the reason for your split, it makes me emotional because I did the wrong thing,’ Mikey told Michael and Stacey.
‘For me, I wasn’t cheating on Natasha, we were done. From what I knew, Stacey and Michael weren’t getting along and he’d moved out, and I’m apologising to you now, whether you think that’s real. I didn’t think you guys were getting back together. I thought you were done.’
But Michael wasn’t having his apology, and made reference to a comment Mikey’s wife, Natasha Spencer had made about his poor ’10 second’ performance in the sack.
‘I hope it was the best 10 seconds of your life,’ Michael snapped.
Ouch!
But Stacey continued to deny it ever happened. ‘We never had a one night stand, Mikey… we were friends.’
