The Canadian singer is also stepmother to René and his first wife Denyse Duquette’s son Patrick Angelil, 56, and second wife Anne Renee’s two children, Jean-Pierre Angelil, 50, and Anne-Marie Angelil, 47.
René-Charles Angelil
Born January 25, 2001, René-Charles is the eldest of Celine’s three sons.
Describing her firstborn as a “miracle child,” Celine previously opened up on her early experience of motherhood to People, sharing, “It relaxes me to read stories to him, do finger painting, play with Play-Doh.”
Named after his father, René-Charles has followed in his parent’s star-studded footsteps, pursuing his own career in music under the pseudonym Big Tip Music.
Speaking on her son’s artistic ventures, Celine wrote to social media, “I’m so proud of my son. My love for him is so strong, and it touches me deeply that one of his passions is also one of mine.”

After suffering a miscarriage and enduring six rounds of IVF treatment, Celine and René were blessed with twins Eddy and Nelson on October 23, 2010.
Speaking on the inspiration behind their names, chosen in tribute to music producer Eddy Marney and Nelson Mandela, a representative for the couple shared that Celine and René “want their children to be inspired by their names because they were so inspired by these men.”
Celebrating their 10th birthday in October 2020, Celine marked the milestone with a heartfelt tribute to Instagram, writing, “Nelson and Eddy, you have been bringing me so much joy, love, and laughter into our lives every single day for the past 10 years.”

Who is Celine Dion’s husband?
Celine Dion was married to Canadian music producer René Angelil from 1994 until his passing in January 2016.
The couple first crossed paths in 1980 after René received a demo tape from a then 12-year-old Celine – signing on as her manager one year later. In 1988, the pair began their relationship, with the couple sharing their first date shortly after Celine’s Eurovision Song Contest win.
The couple married in December 1994 and remained together until René passed away from throat cancer in January 2016.
