Over six years since his last mission, Deadpool is back to continue his superhero antics for a third film.
Starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, Deadpool & Wolverine sees two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most outlandish heroes join forces to tackle a new threat with a little help (and hindrance) from some of the franchise’s most well-known characters.

What is Deadpool 3 about?
If you haven’t seen the latest adventure, don’t worry! We won’t spoil it for you, but what you do need to know is that Deadpool is back and wilder than ever.
Joining forces with his unlikely crime-fighting ally Wolverine, the two outlandish superheroes are reluctantly forced to team up to prevent this film’s baddie Cassandra Nova from taking over the world. You know, usual superhero stuff.
Partnering together for the first time, Deadpool and Wolverine team up for one final mission and with ample action, comedy, and a few strategically placed dance numbers, the pair work together to not only save their world, but also their identities.
The film’s first trailer was also home to several easter eggs, with fans being quick to highlight the inclusion of Dr. Strange’s portals, a giant Ant-Man helmet, and Loki’s Alioth smoke monster.

Who is the cast of Deadpool 3?
Over six years since he last donned the red mask, Ryan Reynolds returned as Deadpool for a third film. Hugh Jackman also made a comeback to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the fan-favourite Wolverine, with the actor last reprising his role in the 2017 spin-off film Logan.
Joining the cast as the film’s antagonist is The Crown’s Emma Corrin, who stars alongside Deadpool and Wolverine as Professor X’s evil twin sister Cassandra Nova.
In a surprise return for fans, Jennifer Garner also reprised her role as Elektra for the first time in over 20 years, alongside Morena Baccarin as Vanessa and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al.

Is Taylor Swift Lady Deadpool?
As we neared the premiere date, one fan theory gained some serious traction – and we can’t say we hate the idea! After the latest trailer showed a sneak peek of ‘Lady Deadpool,’ many began speculating that Taylor Swift could be behind the new character.
Not only is Taylor Swift a super close family friend of Ryan and his wife Blake Lively, but it’s also not the first time fan theories emerged suggesting Taylor could be joining the Marvel Universe.
Earlier this year, some suggested she could be stepping into the role of the singing superhero Dazzler, but we have to admit, the blonde mystery woman behind Lady Deadpool could also be the perfect cameo role.
While we’re still obsessed with the idea of a Taylor superhero side quest, Ryan confirmed that Lady Deadpool is in fact none other than his wife Blake (couple goals right?!)
