Delta Goodrem has been accused of lying about her taste in music in a desperate attempt to be ‘sexy and cool,’ according to fans.

Earlier this week The Voice star claimed to be a ‘fan of rap music,’ resulting in a flurry of social media activity slamming the Aussie starlet for being disingenuous.
‘This is exciting. I’m just gonna put it out there,’ Delta gushed after contestant, Denzel showed off his rap skills.
‘There has never been someone like you on The Voice, this is groundbreaking. So come on my team is my point. I am so excited and so passionate about this.’
‘The most exciting thing about rap music right now is the fact that it’s hot, it’s sexy as… a lot of girls like myself are listening to it.
‘Because I love my piano and writing my songs, that’s my jam as well, but what I like to listen to when I’m not at work is your style of music,’ she continued.
‘Delta ”it’s sexy and cool and girls like me like to listen to rap music,” Bye,’ ranted one Twitter user.
‘I do not believe that Delta listens to rap in her spare time,’ said another, while one social media user simply wrote: ‘Please stop trying so hard.’
However, it seems Delta didn’t really try hard enough, as Denzel eventually picked Kelly Rowland’s team instead.
