Channel Seven’s Australia’s Got Talent hasn’t even kicked off yet and I’ve already been reduced to a sobbing mess!
In a new promo for the upcoming return season of the talent quest, a nervous 15-year-old girl— who said it was her dream since early childhood to appear on the show— takes to the stage to perform.
Her soaring vocals and stunning rendition of the track instantly had the crowd cheering… and Rickie-Lee Clouter in tears! After receiving a standing ovation, the former Australian Idol star rushed to the stage to praise the aspiring singer.
“I was balling backstage and my heart was racing at a million miles per hour,” raved Ricki-Lee, who found her own fame on Australia’s Got Talent. “You are amazing.”

Leading the all-star judging panel is Grammy-nominated singer Nicole Scherzinger, who’ll be joined by chef and My Kitchen Rules judge, Manu Feildel, actor Shane Jacobson and stage star Lucy Durack.
