We watched on as Becky Miles and her younger sister, Elly, began their search for lasting love on The Bachelorette’s premiere episode (this, btw, is the first time EVER the franchise has had two leading ladies.)
But what we didn’t see (or hear about, for that matter?) is the physical and mental preparation that went into getting the girls ready to grace the rose-lined red carpet.

“We requested ‘clean food’ for any meals being catered for during filming,” Becky, 30, tells WHO.
“On weekends we tried our best to cook healthy meals ourselves. Otherwise, if we were hungry at home and too tired to cook we would make healthier choices on UberEats.”
As for their most-ordered menu items?
“Our favourite meals were Guzman & Gomez and sushi,” she adds.
Fajitas at your fingertips and guys, quite literally, lining up to date you. What more could a woman want?
We hit up Becky to get the scoop on the rest of her eating, exercise and skincare secrets, including the weird (but totally genius) beauty tip she swears by.
Let’s talk workouts. What does your weekly routine look like?
Morning walks along the beach, and Airlocker (altitude HIIT style group training) three to four times a week.
What’s your least favourite way to exercise?
I’m not a fan of Bikram yoga – being in a stuffy room, whilst hot, doing stretches is not my idea of fun exercise haha.
Do you have a food philosophy?
I absolutely love love love food and enjoy good food. I like to have a balance, eating mostly a clean diet but also having cheat meals and balance so I don’t go on and binge. I have a better relationship with food these days, but it’s not always been the case.
Take us through your typical day on a plate…
Ooooo, I try to fast in the mornings with an almond piccolo or two in the morning, then I’ll have lunch which, if it’s on a weekend, would be brunch- type food (I’m obsessed with brunch.) So, an acai bowl or a veggie bowl/plate, then for dinner I love Mexican food so would usually go for a Mexican bowl or just a plain and simple meat and three veg.
Cheat meal of choice?
I’d say Mexican – Antijitos in Newcastle is the most delicious Mexican I’ve ever had and they do amazing fish tacos and pork nachos. (Is it weird that I’m loving these food questions SO much? Haha)
Do you have a morning routine?
A morning walk and a shower before work.
What’s the best health or fitness tip you’ve ever received?
That weight isn’t everything – you’re better off taking photos to track progress rather than tracking your weight because weight doesn’t “mean” anything, it’s all dependant on your body composition.
When do you feel most confident in your skin?
When I have a positive mindset (which is the majority of the time), a nice tan and have been training and eating well.
Name 3 beauty products you couldn’t live without…
Eye cream, face cream and hair volumising powder.
Do you have a daily skincare regime?
I use GoTo cleanser, face oil and daily moisturiser during the day. At night I’ll cleanse and then use The Original buffet serum and moisturiser. I always use an eye cream as well.
Any weird beauty hacks?
Using bronzer and highlighter as eyeshadow when you don’t have any eyeshadow around.
What do you do in your downtime to take the pressure off?
I love to listen to Podcasts (mostly true crime Podcasts), read books (I’ve recently gotten back into that after being in the Bachelorette pad with no phone haha), listening to music and hanging out with friends.
What do you know now that you wish you did before going on The Bachelorette?
Nothing. I actually can’t come up with an answer to that question.
Who inspires you?
My Pop. Pop is an amputee with one hand, is a very hard working man, and loving family man who is generous, caring and has always been the head of our family.
