After capturing the hearts of fans on-screen, the couple’s romance quickly gathered attention from fans, with rumours of a potential real-life relationship surfacing in October 2023 after the pair were spotted holding hands at The Hollywood Reporter’s Beauty Dinner.

Despite the fan fervour surrounding their relationship, Park and Forman kept their off-screen love story under wraps throughout the filming of Emily in Paris seasons two and three before officially confirming they were an item in January 2024, with Park sharing a tribute to her boyfriend for his ongoing support after undergoing treatment for critical septic shock.

“You calmed my fears and held me through ambulances, three foreign hospitals, a week in the ICU, scary ERs, countless scans and tests and injections, excruciating pain, and so much confusion all while we were alone on the other side of the world far from those we know. I love you, Paul. More than I can ever say,” she wrote,

Although the couple doesn’t say too much publically about their relationship, Park offered a rare glimpse into life with her then-unnamed boyfriend in July 2023, telling People, “I’ve just never been with someone so supportive, and not supportive like, ‘Oh, that’s so cool for you,’ but who genuinely feels happiness when I do.”

Despite keeping much of their relationship out of the public eye, the Emily in Paris stars have appeared at several red-carpet events together since confirming their relationship and have also featured heavily on one another’s social media.

In August 2024 the couple took their relationship to the Emily in Paris Season Four red carpet, walking arm-in-arm and even sharing a cheeky kiss in front of cameras.

“We started in a really great friendship,” Park told  E! News. “We just loved working together and as a collaborator, I loved working with him and as a scene partner.”

Park even admitted in the interview that co-star Lily Collins inquired about the romance and chemistry before the couple even got together.

“So what happened with Lily was that she called it out first to me and I said, ‘No, that’s not happening.’ And then when things did really blossom in a big way, I was like, ‘Oh my God, I have to tell her because now I lied,'” she told the publication.
