Neighbours star Daniel MacPherson and his girlfriend, model, Jessica Dover has been going strong since they went Instagram official in April 2023.
Indeed, Dover shared a rare insight into their relationship when speaking to The Advertiser in October 2024.
“He’s just so kind,” she said of MacPherson. “Both having children [we were] looking for something that makes you feel really calm.”
Dover has a son, Sebastian, 4, from her previous relationship with Crow Jared Petrenko, while MacPherson is also a father to a four-year-old son, Austin, with ex wife Zoe Ventoura.
Speaking to WHO in June 2024, MacPherson gushed about his son, explaining being away from him is a tough part of his job.
“Our relationship just grows and evolves every day,” he enthused. “He is incredibly creative, curious and energetic. Thankfully, he loves travel and adventure, which he sees plenty of with both parents in showbiz. Fatherhood has made me value my time so much more. Everything gets measured against time with him. I’ve become far more selective of the types of jobs I do, or the people I choose to surround myself with, because, honestly, I would just rather be hanging out with people I love.”
The actor didn’t say too much about his relationship with Dover, but he did smile and share, “Things are great in all areas of my life,” he says. “I have got a very supportive partner in Jess.”
This isn’t the only time he has praised his girlfriend’s support. The pair, who have a long distance relationship, are sometimes spending periods of time apart.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph in July, he said, “There’s lots of great stuff in my life. My relationship with Jess is one of those and we are a wonderful support to each other.”

The pair are no longer together but continue to co parent their son, Austin.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph in June 2023, the Neighbours star opened up about raising his son with his ex.
“I’ve got a wonderful relationship with Austin’s mum. We do a lot of stuff together as well as individually. It’s so special,” he said.
