Love is in the air for Drew Barrymore, who has revealed that she has been secretly dating her new partner for around three years.
Speaking in an upcoming episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the 48-year-old told guest Gwyneth Paltrow that the couple met on the celebrity dating app Raya just prior to the pandemic, with the Charlie’s Angels star sharing that the new couple have taken the next step in their relationship.
“I invited him to a wedding next weekend and he said, ‘Wow, after three-and-a-half years you are going to invite me to a wedding?”

Drew, who has kept her romantic life largely out of the public eye, also shared that she was inspired to open up about her love life thanks to Taylor Swift.
“I just want to say, for me personally, I have been single for seven years, and seeing [Taylor] on that first date out there in the box with [Travis Kelce’s] family, I had a big Oprah a-ha moment,” she shared, referencing Taylor’s lowkey romance debut.
“There was something so normal about it, and obviously Taylor Swift is everything but normal… This was evidence of not being affected by what other people think… it was so calm, confident, and normal that it just made me think I should do this too.”
Although Drew has not shared any further details on her new mystery man, the romance is the actor’s first public relationship since her divorce from art consultant Will Kopelman in 2016 after three years of marriage.

Who was Drew Barrymore married to?
Drew Barrymore was previously married to Will Kopelman (2012-2016), Tom Green (2001-2002), and Jeremy Thomas (1994-1995).

Will Kopelman (2012-2016)
Drew Barrymore was first linked to art consultant Will Kopelman in 2011 after the pair were spotted together on a romantic lunch date in Beverly Hills.
After just over one year together, Drew and Will confirmed their engagement in early January 2012, with a representative for the couple telling People that Will popped the question while on holiday in Idaho’s Sun Valley.
Later that year, the couple welcomed their first daughter, Olive, with her younger sister Frankie arriving in April 2014.
Speaking on family life, Drew told People, “Honestly, I don’t know how it is for other couples, but I really like watching him be a father. I know everyone says you’re supposed to put coupledom first, but I really love it being all about the kids.”
The couple, who largely kept their romance private, announced in 2016 that they would be filing for divorce after four years of marriage, with sources telling People that Drew and Will had “had marriage issues for a while.”

Tom Green (2001-2002)
Drew Barrymore’s romance with comedian and former MTV host Tom Green first began in 1999 after Drew requested that he be cast in Charlie’s Angels.
“She and the studio were trying to get me in that movie for a while. I actually passed on it initially,” Tom said in 2018, with the actor being famously cast as ‘The Chad’ in the action franchise.
After crossing paths on set, the couple went on to date for over a year before announcing their engagement in July 2000, with the couple later announcing their divorce in December 2001 after five months of marriage.
“Drew is a wonderful woman. I love her very much. I wish our marriage could’ve worked out,” Tom shared in a statement, with Drew adding, “Yes, it is true we have decided to part. I love Tom very much. He has always been a great friend and that won’t change.”
Over 20 years since they announced their divorce, the former couple reunited on The Drew Barrymore Show in October 2021.
“It’s very nice to see you. It does feel weird though. Not weird in a bad way [but] weird in a good way… I actually think this is a nice way of reconnecting actually. It takes a little bit of the pressure off,” Tom told Drew, with their conversation marking their first face-to-face meeting in over two decades.

Jeremy Thomas (1994-1995)
19-year-old Drew Barrymore first crossed paths with 31-year-old Jeremy Thomas in late 1993 during a night out in Los Angeles. The couple had dated for six weeks before deciding to tie the knot, with Drew walking down the aisle for the first time on March 20, 1994.
“We’re going to disappear inside a romantic little bungalow. I can’t wait to walk along the beach with my husband. Can you believe that? My husband,” Drew told People, with the couple venturing on their brief honeymoon to Santa Barbara.
Sadly for the couple, the honeymoon period was short-lived, with Drew and Jeremy filing for divorce 19 days after their wedding.
