Ellie’s relationship with her partner, Silvia, stands as a pillar of strength and support.
With Silvia being a former events planner for the Paralympic committee, the pair met at the 2012 London Paralympic Games.
The couple are now inseparable, with Ellie telling 9Honey that prior to competing in the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, she was video calling Silvia upwards of six times a day.
While they remain relatively private, just before entering the I’m a Celebrity jungle, Ellie did take to Instagram to share some very exciting news.

The latest chapter in the couple’s life introduced Felix Parker Cole, their first child.
Ellie shared an adorable snap of their baby boy to her Instagram on February 6 with the caption: “They say when your own child is born, it is one of the greatest miracles you could ever hope for. We are feeling so blessed – Felix Parker Cole joined our family this morning, unexpectedly, three weeks early.”
“We know that he will make us see the world in an entirely different way. Welcome to the world, little Felix. All we see is you. 💙,” she continued.
Her comments were quickly flooded with words of support.
“I’ve already organised many play dates with Felix, I’ll be teaching him some swear words and how to annoy mama Ellie,” Paralympic swimmer Col Pearse wrote.
“Congratulations!! ❤️,” wrote Olympian Libby Trickett.
An adorable picture of the family of three was later shared to her Instagram, celebrating one month with Felix.
