It looks like her split from Sacha Baron Cohen isn’t getting Aussie actress Isla Fisher down!
Just months after announcing their separation after 13 years of marriage, Fisher, 48, has posted a cheeky photo to Instagram showing a mystery hand on her denim-clad bottom.
The photo, captioned ‘’family time’’, shows Fisher admiring the sunset with her three children standing next to her (in descending order of size!)
But it was that unidentified hand on her posterior that had fans talking.
The body to which that hand belonged had been cropped out of the picture, so there is no way of knowing who was enjoying the sunset along with Fisher and her kids.
The titillating snap was shared just one week after the star was spotted laughing and chatting with British actor Ben Barnes at Wimbledon.
Fisher looked animated in pictures capturing the moment, with one media outlet even referring to her as looking ‘’giddy’’ as she talked to the ‘’hunky’’ Chronicles of Narnia star.
In an odd piece of synchronicity, when Fisher and Baron Cohen released a joint statement in April 2014 announcing they were headed for divorce, they used a tennis metaphor.
‘’After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down,’’ their statement began.
Now, Fisher’s sunset photo has prompted many to wonder: Has she picked up the racquet again with a new man?
The actress has been keeping her fans up to date with what she’s been doing lately, and it looks like there’s no sign of the divorce doldrums.
On June 25 she posed in a pretty floral dress at an event held by Australian fashion brand Zimmermann.
‘’What a magical three day adventure,’’ she wrote.
‘’Thanks to our beloved Aussie fashion sisters – Nicky and Simone Zimmermann. New friends were made, charming beaches discovered under a Solstice Strawberry Moon.
‘’Thank you for sharing your world with us all. We are all so truly grateful.’’
Another photo showed her enjoying a night out with friends.
‘’Reunited and it feels so good,’’ the picture was captioned.
Shortly after her split with Baron Cohen went public, Fisher shared a photo of herself enjoying a night out at the theatre with fellow Aussie Naomi Watts and Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery.
The photo was simply captioned: ‘’Girls night at the theatre.’’
Fisher is understood to be looking for a new London home, and price is apparently no object, with a reported budget of around A$13m to play with.
‘’It’s all about the kids and what is best for them,’’ a source told The Daily Mail.
‘’There seems to be no drama at all. Judging by the size of the budget, the family will now be based in London. But Isla is going to keep her place in Australia.’’
News of Fisher’s split from Baron Cohen came as a surprise to many, who believed their marriage was rock solid.
But one source told The Sun that the split had been coming for a long time.
‘’Isla has known for some time the marriage was over, and after some difficult conversations with Sacha, made the decision to consult a divorce lawyer. This was back in early summer 2022,’’ the source said.
The pair have three children together, daughters Olive, 17, and Elula, 13, and son Montgomery, nine.
While The Daily Mail source claimed there was ‘’no drama’’ between the two, others have speculated they could be gearing up for a spectacular divorce showdown.
The Sun claimed Fisher had reached out to high-profile lawyer Fiona Shackleton, who helped Sir Paul McCartney navigate a tumultuous split from Heather Mills and acted as a negotiator when then-Prince Charles split from Princess Diana.
The same publication reported that Baron Cohen had consulted divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who represented Angelina Jolie when she split from Brad Pitt.
Most recently, Wasser helped Shannen Doherty negotiate her divorce from Kurt Iswarienko as she was dying from cancer.
Whichever way it goes, for the moment, Isla Fisher is looking pretty footloose and fancy free.
