Katy Perry left fans stunned with a series of barely there outfits – including a virtually nude ensemble for July 4 celebrations – as she teased her seventh studio album in 2024.

The pop star – who is married to Orlando Bloom – has not only dropped a series of hints on what to expect, but she’s been showing off her best body yet in the process.

All subtlety went out the window with the unveiling of the cover for the album’s first single.

Featuring the 39-year-old singer in a skimpy string bikini, the image flaunted her trim and toned physique.

The same bikini featured in a TikTok video in which she lip syncs to her new song ‘Woman’s World’.

For July 4, Perry took to Instagram, again to tease her album.

This time she posed in a barely there stars and stripes ensemble.

“BB UR A FIREWORK and speaking of work, WOMAN’S WORLD IS GOING TO WORK IN ONE WEEK,” the star captioned the snap.

In another almost nude moment, Perry attended the Balenciaga Haute Couture show in Paris on June 26 in an outfit that barely covered her modesty.

Her bold transformation has sparked an instant response, with many fans commenting about Perry’s dramatic weight loss.

Some made wild claims that she may have taken weight loss drug Ozempic to achieve the result – something Perry has not substantiated.

Rather, the former American Idol judge has always been vocal about portraying a realistic body shape.

“I’m curvy, I’m not sample size, but I represent a lot of people out there,” she told Mashable in 2016. “I want to be relatable.”

Over the years, she has maintained that relatability, from sharing photos of her post-partum body in 2020 to admitting to Prevention that year that she ate healthily 60 per cent of the time.

But fitness has always been important to Perry.

“When I don’t have my health, nothing else matters,” she told Prevention. “If I can’t get on the stage and do it, I disappoint so many people.”
