Keanu Reeves’ long-term partner Alexandra Grant has opened up on the couple’s romance.
In an interview with People, the 50-year-old artist offered a rare glimpse into her relationship with The Matrix star; describing their romance as “interdependent and independent in the best ways.”
“What I love about Keanu and our exchange is that we’re pushing each other to build new roads. Seeing the other person’s problem-solving is inspiring… He’s such an inspiration to me. He’s so creative. He’s so kind. He works so hard,” she shared.

Alexandra also reflected on her journey to finding love as an adult, telling People, “The good news about falling in love as an adult is that I had built my own career by the time that my relationship had begun. I feel very confident in the relationship on the red carpet. I feel confident on it alone.”
Alexandra’s insight into her romance with Keanu comes just over six months since the actor spoke publicly about their relationship; calling his last moment of bliss an experience with “my honey.”
“We were in bed. We were connected. We were smiling and laughing and giggling. Feeling great. It was really nice just to be together,” he told People.
Keanu, who is notoriously private, has largely kept the details of his love life out of the public eye despite over 30 years in the spotlight.
