Kendall Jenner’s sister Kim Kardashian might be totally against tattoos (remember her famous line, ‘would never put a bumper sticker on a Bentley’), but that hasn’t stopped Kendall from getting a tattoo. Three, in fact.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has three tiny tattoos that are mostly hidden. Two of the supermodel’s tattoos hold a special meaning (more about that below), but one was the result of a drunken night.
Kendall Jenner’s finger tattoos
Kendall got her first two heart tattoos on her fingers back in 2015, but waited until 2016 to share the meaning behind them.
“I really like tattoos. Right now I have two: They’re both in white ink on my two middle fingers. The one on my right hand is a full heart to represent an angel and my left is a broken heart—kind of like the devil side,” she wrote on her app.
“Hailey [Baldwin] and I have matching ones on the left side but hers is red (see pic). I definitely want more eventually, I just don’t know what I would get right now. I don’t have anything in mind. You’ll just have to wait and see!”
Kendall Jenner’s lip tattoo
Kendall backed up her claims of wanting another tattoo by getting one on the inside of her bottom lip in July 2016, but it’s one she regrets.
The model got the word “meow” tattooed in her lip by celebrity tattoo artist JonBoy after getting drunk with friends, she revealed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
‘I’ll try and show you without messing up my lipstick,” she said. “I was drunk. I was not thinking.”
“In my face! (Meow) was literally the first thing that came to my mind… my drunk thoughts. I feel like it would have been a good place to put a boyfriend’s name. It’s just fattiness or is it muscle… bone hurts really bad.”
The almost matching tattoo with Kylie Jenner
Before getting her three tattoos, Kendall was supposed to get a matching one with younger sister Kylie Jenner.
Before turning 16 in 2011, Kendall and Kylie flew to Las Vegas to get a tattoo of the French phrase ‘Vous êtes belle’ (or ‘you are beautiful’ in English).
But the the then teenager backed out last minute.
Kylie now has multiple tattoos, including a red heart one on her arm.
