Kourtney Kardashian Barker and Travis Barker are no strangers to making headlines, and this spooky season, their Halloween decorations are the latest to stir up conversation. Known for their unapologetic public displays of affection, the couple’s holiday setup is equally bold—and equally divisive.

On Friday, October 4, Kourtney gave her Instagram followers a glimpse of her fall festivities in a photo series captioned “Hello October.”

The slideshow began innocently enough, with the Kardashians star pushing a stroller—presumably carrying her and Travis’ 10-month-old son, Rocky Thirteen. Seasonal vibes continued to roll in with shots of pumpkins lining a grand outdoor staircase and hot apple cider brewing on the stove.

But it wasn’t long before the attention shifted to a more risqué aspect of her holiday décor: two inflatable skeletons posed in a rather suggestive position. One skeleton was seen straddling the other, as they locked skulls in a romantic, albeit eerie, embrace.

While some fans found the skeleton setup humorous and very “on-brand” for the couple, others were less amused.

Comments poured in, with one user exclaiming, “That skeleton position? Really?” Another fan added, “As a mother of four kids I find it disgusting you would do that to those inflatables.”

Some even questioned how Kourtney’s children might feel about seeing such a provocative display. Despite the backlash, many supporters defended the display, finding it a lighthearted extension of Kourtney and Travis’s well-known playful style. One fan quipped, “Someone in my neighbourhood had that inflatable and I drove by and literally said, ‘That looks like something Kourtney and Travis would have in their yard.’”

Of course, this isn’t the first time the couple has embraced Halloween in an extreme way. In 2022 they hosted a Michael Myers-themed party, sharing glimpses of their dramatically transformed home. Towering 15-foot skeletons greeted guests at the entrance, while pumpkins lined the way to the party.

However, it wasn’t the pumpkins that caused controversy—it was the graphic, gory decorations scattered around the house.

One display featured severed limbs and life-sized models of dead women lying face down in unsettling positions, a choice that quickly drew criticism from fans.

Many viewers took to social media, sharing their discomfort with the decorations. “As much as I love horror and scary things, this is a bit too realistic & violent for absolutely no reason lol gives me bad vibes,” one commenter shared. Others were quick to point out the troubling portrayal of women, with one fan asking, “Why does it have to be dead women? It’s not decorative; it’s just disturbing.”

Despite the uproar, Kourtney and Travis seem unfazed, continuing to share their love of Halloween and their passion for going all out—whether it’s through elaborate costumes or outlandish decorations.

As Kourtney and Travis continue to celebrate spooky season in their typical over-the-top fashion, the backlash hasn’t slowed them down. Love them or hate them, there’s no denying that Kravis knows how to make a statement—whether it’s with Halloween decor or public displays of affection. And with Halloween just around the corner, fans can only wonder what tricks (or treats) the couple has in store next.
