Soaking up the sunshine in Sydney, cricketer Michael Clarke was recently spotted looking cosy with his pretty blonde assistant Sasha Armstrong aboard Anthony Bell’s luxury yacht – but the former captain’s wife Kyly was nowhere to be seen.
Sasha has worked as Michael’s assistant for a number of years and she appeared very close and friendly with her boss while enjoying her time aboard the vessel.
And at the Melbourne Cup celebrations last week, Kyly appeared to be solo and not wearing her wedding ring, leaving onlookers to wonder if the couple have secretly split. Since then, a rep for the pair has confirmed they are still going strong.
“Absolutely Michael and Kyly are together,” a spokesperson told New Idea.
The comment came just days after Michael, 37, took to Instagram to share news that the couple’s daughter Kelsey Lee had to be rushed to hospital due to an unknown illness.
Worried mum Kyly was pictured frantically tending to her sick little tot in the emergency room. Later on, Michael posted a picture of himself cuddling his daughter while she watched a show on an iPad, telling his fans that his angel was “back on the mend” and out of hospital.
