An original James Bond actor has suggested that the Australian actor should take over the iconic role.

George Lazenby, the third actor to play Bond in the franchise, reckons the Hemsworth brother is perfect for the job.
Not only did the 83-year-old tell TMZ that the Australian’s acting resume warrants the license to kill, he also suggested that Liam will be adequately prepared for the accompanying media scrutiny.
George added that the Aussie beau is “crazy enough, arrogant enough, confident enough, ambitious enough to take on the role”.
Plus, considering every James Bond so far has been part of the Commonwealth, the actor attests that a “good-looking Aussie dude” like Liam is the perfect fit.
Of course, Liam isn’t the first Aussie star George has suggested for the role of James Bond, with the actor previously suggesting that Margot Robbie, who is starring as Barbie in the highly-anticipated Greta Gerwig film, would be suitable for the titular role.
“I would rather see a woman on screen than a man, so it might be a good idea having a woman play James Bond… Jane Bond. I think it’s a good idea,” George told The Sun in 2020.
“I mean, why not? There’s an Australian actress that I was just listening to on the television today, Margot Robbie. She would be good. She’s ballsy. She comes across like she’s very confident… if you can pull that off, people will believe you.”
Despite outcry for a female Bond to take the screen, producer Barbara Broccoli has opposed the idea.
The most recent Bond was played by Daniel Craig. He appared in five of the films, his last being No Time To Die.
Recently, Aaron Taylor-Johnson reportedly met with Broccoli – hinting that he may be taking up the mantle.
You mean to say sex god Robbie from Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging might be the next Bond? We love to see it.
