Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky are said to be fed up with the way their former sister-in-law, Miley Cyrus has been treating her ex-hubby, Liam Hemsworth.
According to Radar Online, Chris is so infuriated with Miley’s post-split behaviour, he’s issued a stern warning, begging the singer to stop “playing games” with his younger brother’s heart.

“They are the ones picking up the pieces,” a source close to the situation told the outlet. “And they’ll happily do anything to protect Liam, including shutting Miley out of Liam’s life.”
As he deals with the fallout from his acrimonious split with the “Slide Away” singer, Chris and Elsa have been rallying around Liam and showing their support as the actor navigates his way through this difficult period.
Since the former couple went public with their breakup, Liam moved back to Byron Bay where he’s been spotted on numerous occasions surfing and hanging with his family at their local beach. A source close to the Hunger Games actor— who found out Miley had dumped him via Instagram— recently revealed that Liam plans to permanently move back to Australia.
“He’ll still come to LA to do business and shoot movies, but this whole experience has really reinforced to Liam that Hollywood’s not for him in the long term,” the insider told Radar Online.
As he focuses on healing his broken heart, Miley is also dealing with the fallout from her whirlwind relationship with Kaitlynn Carter— who she publicly dated a few weeks after announcing she and Liam had parter ways. After enjoying a head-clearing girls’ trip with her mum, Trish and sister, Brandi, Miley took to Instagram last week to share a few happy snaps from their time in Utah’s Zion National Park.
Showing off her extremely slender frame in cropped denim shorts and a black sports bra, the pop sensation— who recently returned to acting to star in an episode of Netflix’s Black Mirror— posed against the red rocks of Arizona’s Antelope Canyo.
One of the stunning photographs was accompanied by a caption which seemed to imply the “Wrecking Ball” singer is currently on a journey of self-discovery.
“But if you look at me closely … you can see it in my eyes …. this girl will always find …. her way,” she captioned the post, quoting Britney Spears’ song “I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman”.
Another post showed a bare-faced Miley flicking her hair in the wind while perched on a rock overlooking the desert.
“Keep on movin,” she wrote.
Although the photo garnered a lot of attention, with dozens of A-listers complementing the star on her incredibly toned figure, thousands of people expressed their concerns seeing as her ribs were visible in the majority of the photos she uploaded. Comments quickly rolled in claiming the “Don’t Call Me Angel” songstress is “unhealthily thin” and should consider seeking help or treatment.
“I love you but your body looks like mine when I went to rehab for anorexia,” a concerned fan wrote. “Hope you’re ok.”
“Miley please if you need any type of help please let us know, I am worried about you,” another follower commented.
Her time away from the spotlight comes days after reports surfaced claiming Miley and her girlfriend Kaitlynn had called it quits. While PEOPLE Magazine said the pair are now “just friends”, the reality TV star— who announced she and her husband Brody Jenner were separating just before Miley split from Liam— left a very flirty comment on the singer’s Instagram post.
After Miley shared a photo of herself from her performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival over the weekend, Kaitlynn was one of the first celebrities to weigh in on the epic snap!
“VEGA$ #iheartradiofestival2019,” Miley captioned the snap, to which Kaitlynn commented: “GET IT!!!!!”
At this point in time, we can’t say for certain whether they have, in fact, called time on their romance seeing as they’re yet to address the breakup rumours. However, if they have separated, it’s quite a shock considering Kaitlynn not only lives with Miley but has also met her entire family!
The duo all but confirmed they were officially an item a few weeks back when they were spotted kissing and cuddling backstage before Miley performed her latest breakup anthem, “Slide Away”, at the MTV VMAs. After she belted out the smash hit— which details her bitter split from Liam Hemsworth— she was photographed walking hand in hand with Kaitlynn while on their way to an afterparty at the Up and Down nightclub in New York City.
An onlooker told Page Six at the time that Miley and Kaitlynn “couldn’t keep their hands off each other,” adding, “there’s no question they’re together.”
