They met and fell in love on the set of The Bachelorette Australia, but as it turns out, Georgia Love and Lee Elliott’s first encounter was far from perfect. Reminiscing on their romantic first date and jaw-dropping first kiss on the popular franchise back in 2016, Georgia accidentally let split that the producers forced the pair to re-film the entire scene! Yep, they literally had to repeat their entire conversation and re-shoot the magical pash more than once!

“Three years since the only time I had to re-shoot anything on a date coz (sic) I was too keen to give you a rose that I did it too soon,” the beloved TV presenter wrote next to a series of laughing emojis.
The unexpected admission comes days after Lee, who was vying for Georgia’s love as a contestant on the series, Instagrammed a handful of throwback pictures from their romantic Sydney date— which left fans convinced from the outset that she’d want to hand him the final rose at the Bachelorette finale.
“Three years ago today we had our very first date (& kiss) and I’m still wearing the smile you gave me that day #youhadmeathello,” he captioned the gorgeous photos.
Georgia also posted a sweet tribute to Instagram in honour of their three year anniversary, admitting that falling in love in front of the cameras was the “most amazing, crazy, fun, hard, life-changing experience” of her life.
“That first night I never could have imagined what was to come. 21 dates, 4 boats, 2 helicopters, 2 planes, 4 states, 2 countries, 2 original songs (!), countless tears but even more laughs, 1 lost tooth and 1 donkey. Of the 18 guys I met that night there’s since been two babies, one marriage, one engagement, one Bachelor, and even one reality TV show on another network plus many lifelong friendships,” the 30-year-old began.
“But the only thing I really cared about was that there was one Lee Elliott. Three years after first laying eyes on you, I love you more than I ever could have imagined. Thank you @bacheloretteau.”
Since their whirlwind romance played out on national television, Lee and Georgia have moved in together. The happy Australian couple now resides in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond. Since the big step, the brunette beauty has hinted on multiple occasions that Lee is planning to get down on one knee and pop the question!
“I’ve told Lee about the rule that it’s 12 month’s salary for the ring,” she said on Sarah Holloway’s podcast, Seize the Yay.
