Mohamed Hadid, father of Victoria’s Secret models Gigi and Bella Hadid, is facing possible jail time after the construction of his multi-million dollar mansion.
The Telegraph UK reports that the real estate developer has pleaded “no contest” to three charges of criminally bloating building regulations and not adhering to order to stop construction on the buildng which has been nicknamed the ‘Starship Enterprise’.
Although Hadid, 64, is not pleading guilty, The Telegraph reports that it is a criminal conviction in California as he is allowing the court to make a decide on his punishment.
Hadid did not turn up to court himself, but was instead represented by well-known lawyer Robert Shapiro, member of O.J Simpson’s “dream team” defence.
The developer will be sentenced later in June.
