The podcast was full of juicy gossip about her and Justin’s private relationship, delving into all the behind-the-scenes details about Selena and Hailey’s relationship, the dating timelines and where the three of them all stand now.
It seemed like the drama was behind the trio, with Hailey and Selena even photographed together at an event.

Thanks to a series of TikToks, captions and comments it seems Selena and Hailey are “feuding” for real now and it’s messy.
Now, as Selena Gomez swears off social media and Hailey Bieber and Kylie Jenner get labelled as “mean girls” by the internet, TikTok sleuths are looking back on Hailey and Selena’s relationship with a fine-toothed comb and they have stumbled across some interesting information.
It seems that Hailey did not in fact hate Selena since the dawn of time like so many fans believed. She actually was quite a fan of the Disney star.
A (very brief) timeline of the drama
2011
It all starts in 2011. Selena Gomez and Justin Beiber are officially dating and #Jelena is born and Hailey is seemingly a fan.
“I’m for sure 100% team #Jelena.” Hailey writes in a since-deleted tweet.
Months later, Hailey writes another now-deleted tweet showing her support for the couple. “I don’t care what anyone says but Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez together is the definition of a teenage dream! #word.”
2014
Following news that Selena and Justin have broken up, Hailey and Justin are forced to deny dating rumours. After spending New Years Eve together, the pair insist they are just close friends.
“People are crazy. I’m super single and this is my good friend u would know otherwise,” Justin captions a picture of himself and Hailey.
2015
Just a month after Justin reportedly tries to publically serenade Selena Gomez at a hotel bar in Beverly Hills, he was spotted kissing Hailey on New Year’s Eve. Justin later tells GQ that the pair are not exclusive and that they don’t want to rush anything, before he and Hailey split.
2017
Justin and Selena once again sparked rumours that they are back together throughout 2017 before they go Instagram official in March 2018. The couple split later that year.
2018
Surprise! Hailey and Justin are back together – and engaged!
What follows is years of Selena and Hailey’s fans taking the drama to the next level, with both fan bases attacking each other online. Both Hailey and Selena are forced to repeatedly tell their fans that there is no bad blood, but alas, no one listens and the rumours of a feud persist.
However, following the latest drama, fans are convinced Hailey and Selena’s “feud” is not due to their shared relationship history with Justin, but actually…Jealousy? Far-fetched we know.
TikTok sleuths have shared the proof of this theory – and whilst it’s not quite compelling, it’s not *entirely* baseless. The whole idea behind this new theory is the number of times Hailey has been caught out “copying” Selena.

And whilst there are some interesting double-ups in both of their respective careers (some of Hailey’s cooking video script is almost word for word the same as Selena’s at times), we can’t help but think the two women’s feud is not thanks to a deep, almost-creepy, hidden jealousy, no matter how many internet-sleuths try to convince us otherwise.
Although the latest Tik Tok theories continue to garner views, it’s clear we may never get a clear answer on the inner workings of Hailey and Selena’s relationship – and we have no right to. But we can’t help but wonder what Justin’s perspective of everything is…
