When Jordyn Woods‘ interview with Jada Pinkett Smith airs on Friday, the Kardashians will certainly be keeping up with the discussion.
Woods, 21, will speak with longtime family friend Pinkett Smith for Red Table Talk on Facebook Watch, presumably to address her alleged affair with Khloé Kardashian‘s boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
“The family is watching what Jordyn will be up to next. It’s always interesting for them to see how former friends act once they are not a part of the family any more,” a source tells PEOPLE.
“They find it ridiculous that Jordyn claims she wants her story out. It’s like, who cares about your story? You behaved inappropriately and hurtful — that’s the whole story,” the source says Woods, who moved out of best friend Kylie Jenner‘s home after the scandal broke on Feb. 19.
While the famous family is shaking their heads at Woods’ decision to sit down with Pinkett Smith, they have no hard feelings against the 47-year-old Girls Trip actress.
“About Jada giving her a platform, it’s not anything they are holding against Jada,” the source says.
Earlier this week, Woods briefly went live on Instagram to reveal that she’s filming Pinkett Smith‘s talk show.
In the livestream, Woods was filmed from behind on set as she approached the table wearing a black turtleneck dress and sneakers. The camera followed her as she took her seat, turning to face viewers directly with a serious stare.
The interview will most likely mark Woods’ first official, in-depth comments about the alleged infidelity. (Last week, she indirectly addressed it at the launch event for her Eylure X Jordyn Woods Lashes in Los Angeles, telling attendees: “Thank you guys for coming out and supporting me through everything that’s going on. It’s been real, and Eylure has been super real with a project I’ve been working on for over nine months right now.”)
“She was drunk but not blacked out,” the source said. “Afterwards she knew she had messed up and was like ‘I gotta go, I gotta go.’ It was a one-time thing.”
And while Woods has made numerous attempts to apologize since news of the cheating scandal broke, what she’s telling the Kardashians allegedly isn’t consistent.
“Her story keeps changing a bit, and it’s almost like she is digging herself deeper,” an insider previously said. “It’s been a week now of nonsense explaining from her side. Everyone thinks she wanted to hook up with Tristan and she just didn’t think she was gonna get caught.”
