When Hilary Duff cracked it in isolation and randomly dyed her hair blue, deep down, I knew she’d live to regret it.

Well, my friends, that day has come and I feel truly sorry for the poor hairdresser who has to fix this mess!

This morning, the 32-year-old took to Instagram to update fans on the state of her once aqua coloured hair, admitting the entire ordeal has been an absolute disaster.

Guys… next time she decides to dye her hair green during a pandemic… somebody be a friend and stop her,” the “Why Not” singer captioned an Instagram photo showing off her brown, green, blue and grey hair.

Earlier this month, the former Disney star revealed she was going a little stir crazy while self-isolating with her husband and children. Bored and unsure what to do with herself, she decided to say goodbye to her blonde tresses, dye her hair and cut it into a lob.

Debuting her vibrant look on Instagram, Hilary simply captioned the post: “Yea.”

Expectedly, her 14.9 million Instagram followers adored the vibrant style, with many making note of the fact she also sported icy blue hair in her 2015 music video for her hit track, “Sparks”.

Away from all the issues that have come with dyeing her hair, we desperately need answers about the fate of the Lizzie McGuire reboot which has been up in the air since Disney+ seemingly pulled the plug.

Despite pleading with the network to go ahead with filming, executives have since claimed the reboot “doesn’t fit their brand”.

“I feel a huge responsibility to honor the fans’ relationship with LIZZIE who, like me, grew up seeing themselves in her,” she wrote on Instagram in early April.

“I’d be doing a disservice to everyone by limiting the realities of a 30 year old’s journey to live under the ceiling of a PG rating….It would be a dream if Disney would let us move the show to Hulu, if they were interested, and I could bring this beloved character to life again.”

Thankfully, it’s not all bad news! The second time mum— who welcomed daughter Banks Violet in late 2018— said she’s still in talks with the network which sounds pretty promising!

“There’s still conversations going on in hopes that we can find a way to meet in the middle and both bend a little bit. I understand that they have to protect their brand and there’s pretty strict guidelines on what that looks like,” she told PEOPLE.

“I just have to make sure it’s the right move for me and that I feel like I’m honoring her and the character, and that it will be relatable to the people who grew up with her because those are the people I really want to speak to.
