Fans of Saturday Night live might be surprised about this!
Alec Baldwin has in recent times angered Donald Trump fans due to his comical impersonation of the president elect on the popular sketch comedy show, but it appears he isn’t doing it for the paycheck.
According to The New York Times Baldwin, 58, gets paid only $1929 for each appearance on the show.
The president elect has even had an opinion on the sktch, once taking to Twitter to state that, “Alec Baldwin’s portrayal stinks” and “the Baldwin impersonation just can’t get any worse”.
Regardless, the actor has promises to continue to impersonate Trump whom he considers a dangerous figure.
“Whoever it is, wouldn’t it be great to be the person who pulls the sword out of the stone? Who gets rid of this guy?” Baldwin openly said to The New York Times, “Wouldn’t that be thrilling?”
