The actor’s dream is to make a Bee Gees biopic—in the role of iconic frontman Barry Gibb.
“Oh my God, how do you know that?” Sheridan, 31, tells WHO. “That’s true. I reckon I’ve only told three people. I would love to do that. I’d love to play Barry.”
The former Packed to the Rafters star jokes he wants to keep his vision a secret for now. “I don’t want you to tell everyone because I was going to suggest it,” he says. “They’ll steal the idea.”
He was inspired after playing bass guitarist Garry Gary Beers in 2014 mini-series INXS: Never Tear Us Apart, “which was so much fun,” he tells WHO. “They’ve done a whole string of them now and it’s like the hot thing to do, but I was thinking nobody has done one on the Bee Gees, and I’m such a huge fan.”
One other ambition? Asked if he’s duking it out with Hugh Jackman over which Hugh is Australia’s biggest triple threat, Sheridan says he’d bring it in a sing and dance-off: “I’d be 100 per cent up for it!”
