Jessica Mauboy may be busy juggling a her singing and an acting gig on Channel 7’s The Secret Daughter, but the star says all she really needs right now is some quality family time.
The star who wraps up filming season two of the Seven Network drama in Sydney this week has confirmed to The Daily Telegraph that she and her boyfriend Themeli Magripilis would be relocating for a month to “reconnect with family”.
“I am heading back to Darwin for a month to reconnect with my family,” Mauboy said.
“Them and I – we will travel together and see his family as well. Family, that is my most important at the moment, now that Secret Daughter is off, I will be thinking about doing some writing.”
And it appears Mauboy has already made her way home as she shared a snap alongside her sisters.
Magripilis was the inspiration for 27-year-old’s newest single Fallin’, which gives fans a glimpse into the lives of the normally private couple.
The former Australian Idol star previously told WHO that she was open to marrying her soccer player beau.
“I love the idea of having children with Themeli. I love the idea of being married to him. We already kind of are,” she said.
