Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson are officially parents to a beautiful baby girl!

A representative for the Queen & Slim actress turned new mama announced the exciting news in a statement, revealing she was doing well after giving birth to their bundle of joy.
“Both mother and baby are happy and healthy,” the rep told PEOPLE and E! News.
The 33-year-old actress and 41-year-old actor— who began dating in November 2018— revealed they were expecting their first child together in January 2020, less than a month after the couple stepped out wearing wedding rings, proving they’d secretly tied the knot.
“Favourite moments with baby,” Jodie captioned the Instagram announcement which included a video that showed her stomach moving as her unborn bub kicked around inside!
“Can you see her dancing in there? Every time I try to record she stops.”
According to the Dawson’s Creek alum, he and Jodie waited until they could be together to find out whether she was expecting.
“We kind of had an inkling. Cycles change,” he said on The Graham Norton Show. “This was literally the most joyous moment of my life. She was working out of town and I asked her to hold off a couple days before taking a test so we could do it together.”
As her due date approached, The Affair star opened up about the stresses of expecting a child amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
“Obviously, it’s a bit stressful right now and we’re just trying to figure out how to be smart about being quarantined,” he said during a video interview with Good Morning America.
“The medical system right now is a little bit difficult, so we’re figuring it out day by day. But she’s healthy and the baby’s healthy, so that’s important,” he added.
In another video interview earlier this month, Joshua reassured fans his beautiful wife was doing well and they were “managing” just like everybody else.
“We’re just trying to figure out on a moment to moment basis how to get through this with our sanity,” he said during an episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan.
“We’re in the board game stage now. We did a lot, a lot, a lot of binge watching last week, so now … we’ve moved our way through Monopoly. Now it’s actually Jenga. Jenga’s the thing!”
Prior to his relationship with Jodie, Joshua fleetingly dated American television personality Alyssa Julya Smith. He also dated Diane Kruger for over a decade before they parted ways in 2016.
