Actress Kate Beckinsale had quite the answer when questioned on social media today about her alleged romantic connection to Pete Davidson.

The pair, who have been the subject of buzz about their connection since widespread reports that they allegedly left a Golden Globes party together, clapped back at a fan when asked about the stories on Instagram.
‘Dear heavens, Kate. Not Pete Davidson,’ write the fan, to which Kate responded: ‘No that’s my mother. Easy mistake.’
Sources told PEOPLE (see video above) that the pair were seen ‘cuddling’ at the event, so draw your own conclusions. Maybe Kate is close to her mum!
The duo were seen chatting together according to Page Six they were – ‘were flirting all night and sipping Moët’ – at the Netflix party, and supposedly headed off into the night looking quite comfortable.
Pete has had a rough ride of late, after his split from Ariana Grande. Kate, meanwhile, was recently spotted kissing Jack Whitehall.
