As Aussie legend Kerri-Anne Kennerley will attest, there’s no greater way to shake a funk than debuting a brand new ‘do.

The 57-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday to share that she’d traded in her trademark bouncy blonde locks for a sleeker, straighter style.
In the smiley selfie – which has since been deleted from her account – the presenter appeared fresh-faced and happy, her orange blouse perfectly complementing her blush pink lippie.
It’s been a tumultuous 2020 for KAK, to say the least. Back in August, the TV veteran was sacked from her gig on Studio 10 as part of the network’s brutal budget cuts.
“You guys have been my family,” she began her tearful goodbye speech less than 24 hours after learning the news.
“I feel so privileged. You guys took me in and generously just gave me a shoulder to lean on and I have leaned on you.”
The former co-host, who had been on the show for two years, has since made a bold transition into musical theatre. She’s set to star in the stage show, Pipin, which is opening at Sydney’s Lyric Theatre this month.
“I told you I wanted to join the circus! So excited to be playing Berthe in @pippinaustralia .,” she captioned a clip of her on a trapeze. “Now I have the chance to sing upside down 🎪”
To whip herself into shape for the role, KAK has reportedly adopted a “strict vegetarian and alcohol-free diet.” She even checked herself into a wellness retreat at Elysia in the Hunter Valley.
According to the retreat’s website, packages include “holistic” spa and wellness treatments, seminars, nutritious meals. A week-long stay is priced at a whopping $4595 per person.
“I feel fabulous,’ she told PS Sydney after returning home, adding that her preparation for Pipin had been “a piece of cake” so far.
