Kyle Sandilands has opened up about his recent health scare after he was bitten by a spider.
‘I just thought it was a little annoying bump or something,’ he said to his co-star Jackie O this morning.
‘It was hideous, my leg swelled up like a big fat lady down at Jenny Craig. One ankle was fat and one ankle was beautiful and slender.’
He added: ‘My lymph nodes did swell up in my groin and I thought ‘oh s**t what’s going on here’.
‘(And) because it went so swollen and blew up and now it’s back to normal size, all the skin’s flaking off like a lizard.’
Last week there were fears his leg would have to be amputated following the injury.
‘I thought, what if I have to get this chopped off?’ he said.
‘I woke up one morning panicked, all sweating, and I had dreamt that the doctor had amputated my leg from the groin.’
Kyle is currently at home resting, a spokesperson told The Daily Telegraph.
‘I’ve spent over five grand on medical bills,’ the shock jock revealed.
Doctors believe he was bitten by a wolf spider.
