The former Blue Heelers actress stars as the only female in ABC’s new dramedy, The Warriors.

The show is set in the world of elite sport, focusing on an AFL team, with McCune, 46, playing the club’s media manager.

The Warriors also stars Australian actors John Howard (All Saints), Vince Colosimo (Underbelly), and newcomer Gordon Churchill.

“I do totter next to the boys, and they’re still taller than me [even with heels on],” McCune told News Corp.

The actress also opened up about her decision not to get botox.

“I think it’s wonderful to get older. It’s life, isn’t it?” she said.

“I don’t want to go Botoxing my face to try and stay looking 30 and then have a wrinkly neck. I’ve never nipped, tucked or jabbed, but who knows, if anything ever bothered me enough, I probably would.”
