Love Island Australia star Jessie Wynter has spoken out about considering having her breast implants removed, after a “nightmare” surgery left her looking “botched” several years ago.

Currently isolating due to COVID-19, the star did a Q&A with her Instagram followers. One asked, “Do you think you would ever get your breast implants removed?”
Jessie responded to say, “Yep, I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.”
The comment came after Jessie previously told WHO that she regretted going under the knife after a botched boob job that left her breasts “really far apart.”
“I did get a boob job when I was younger, and it was one of those nightmare ones that didn’t go to plan,” she said of the procedure.
In 2019 the reality TV star told WHO she’d travelled overseas several years prior in order to get the procedure – for which she had ended up needing corrective surgery.
“I honestly wish I could go back and tell younger me, ‘dude, don’t get a boob job, you’re fine the way you are’,” she said of her decision.
“They kind of shoved [the implants] in, didn’t structure it or anything and they were just really, really far apart. And they pretty much fell into my armpits.”
Jessie isn’t the only Love Island alum to speak out about plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures, with UK fan-favourite Molly-Mae Hague sharing her journey with fans in October 2020.
“I had my lip filler disolved,” she said in her YouTube video – which has been viewed more than 1.8 million times.
Revealing she’d been getting lip filler since the age of 17, Molly-Mae said she was “rewinding younger mistakes”.
“I’m really toning things down and making myself feel a lot more natural. I’m even undergoing things to do with my teeth at the moment to make them look more natural,” she explained in the video.
“I’ve had things dissolved all throughout my face. I don’t know if you guys can kind of tell but I feel like I’m really starting to go back to the way I used to look before I had filler and I’m really really happy about it.
“I really don’t like the way they [my lips] look. I feel like over the last few months I’ve really noticed how unnatural they look. It’s just time they went.”
Meanwhile, Davina Rankin from Married At First Sight Australia also shared the process of having her breast implants removed. In December 2021 the reality TV star revealed she was having them removed 12 years after her surgery.
Davina told fans she had suffered from Breast Implant Illness (BII) symptoms for years.
“This morning I woke up feeling amazing, it was almost electric,” she told her followers on Instagram.
“I could really feel the blood pumping through my veins and the rhythm of my heartbeat. I felt like I could see clearer, like I could hear better.”
“I haven’t felt this way in as long as I can remember, I have an almost excited giddy feeling in my stomach… I can only imagine the best is yet to come.”
