"I look botched."

From breast implants and nose jobs to tightening her face with botox, Martha Kalifatidis is the first to admit she has no qualms about changing and enhancing her facial features. However, it appears the former Married At First Sight star’s latest cosmetic procedure has left her mouth disfigured.

Taking to her YouTube channel, the Melbourne based makeup artist revealed in a video titled “SNATCHED!!! Come with me… I’m getting cheek filler and my lips dissolved,” that she was forced to dissolve her botched lip fillers after her doctor discovered an abnormal “bubble” on her upper lip.

“I want her to dissolve my lip, you can see when I talk this bit of my lip it sort of hangs over my teeth and I really hate that,” Martha said before explaining the first clinic she went to did a dodgy job.

“It’s a bit lumpy under there. I don’t know what that is… it gets in the way.”

“[You’ve got] a bubble that almost looks like a blister,” her doctor agreed while assessing her mouth.

Martha— who also enhanced the shape of her cheeks with fillers during the same visit— said watching herself on MAFS made her realise how unnatural and distorted her lips looked.

“Cosmetic work] comes across different on-camera because even when I watched myself [on MAFS] I thought ‘Oh my God I look [botched]’,” said Martha, who’s still dating her on-screen MAFS ‘husband’ Michael Brunelli.

Although the Greek-Australian reality TV star has been open about her penchant for cosmetic surgery— once admitting she first went under the knife when she was 22-years-old— her botched procedure comes five months after claiming she’s never had lip injections.

“I don’t have fillers in my lips – but I do have them in other places on my face… and I’ve had my boobs done … like 10 years ago now,” she told a local publication while MAFS was still airing.

As we’re all aware, Martha isn’t the only MAFS star who has undergone a makeover after appearing on our screens. Her close friend and ally on the series, Jessika Power told New Idea recently that she’s had $50,000 worth of surgery since MAFS ended. As well as veneers, lip fillers and cheek fillers, Jess added a breast lift to her surgical rap sheet.

Earlier this month, the controversial star said she had a $16,000 autologous fat graft, which took fat cells out of her problem areas and redeposited them into her breasts.

“I put some weight on during MAFS and after eating healthy and exercising, I had a bit of weight loss. Also with my break-up with Dan there was a lot of stress there as well,” Jess told New Idea.“I chose the fat from the underside of my thighs. I had this little pocket of fat, I don’t know what it is, no matter how much dieting I do, no matter how much exercise I do, I just couldn’t get rid of it.”

Perhaps looking good in the mirror isn’t the only reason why Jess has chosen to alter her svelte physique. According to insiders, Jess and her fellow co-star Ines Basic are set to star in the upcoming season of Network Ten’s Love Island Australia.

“It’s true, Jess has been poached by producers. They think she’s the perfect fit for the show. She’s never far from drama and has no problems partner swapping – not to mention she is ratings gold!” a source close to the situation told a local Australian publication. “They’re still in the middle of casting and need to see how it will work with the other applicants. But the plan is to introduce Jess as an intruder halfway through to spice things up.”

The timing seems a little odd considering Jess revealed last week that she’d moved on from fellow co-star Dan Webb with another former MAFS contestant— Nick Furphy

“Nick and I can confirm we have started to see each other,” the outspoken reality star told the Daily Mail. “At the moment it’s very new for both of us.”

“A lot of people are weighing in on this, especially Nick’s best friend, (Telv Williams), however, we are not allowing people’s opinions to hurt this. We are just seeing how it goes. He’s in Melbourne and I’m on the Gold Coast but we Face time every day on the phone.”

“We’re actually in a relationship,” he also told Yahoo. “It’s only been a few days [but we’ve] been talking for a few weeks.”

Nick— who was ‘married’ to Sharon Marsh on season four of the reality series— also confirmed the pair are an item, revealing a lot of people are refusing to accept their relationship is authentic

“People won’t be happy with this relationship but it has nothing to do with them,” the tradesman-turned-MAFS star admitted.” Jess has grown so much after the show. Don’t always believe what you watch on TV.”
