Since Married At First Sight ended, Patrick Dwyer is back to normal life in Melbourne. And now the former groom has shared a candid life update along with a picture of his stunning new smile.

In May, Patrick underwent quite the transformation when he invested in a porcelain set of veneers and on Tuesday night, shared an image of his new smile along with an update on what life has been like after the show.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you and thank you!” the personal trainer began.
“Putting yourself onto a show like MAFS, you open the floodgates to people’s opinions about you from all over Australia and can experience first hand what trolling can do.”
Patrick continued: “Things and moments (feet clapping) happen during filming that you don’t realise at the time how big that moment will be to the audience watching on, until you watch it back and suddenly people are talking about you over a cup of coffee. You have suddenly gone from a quiet guy, to being in the spotlight and recognised on the street and for some people that can be hard to adjust to.
“Since getting my Instagram back after the show, 99% of people’s messages and comments have blown me away with how much positivity, love and support you have shown me. Even though it’s hard to reply to most, I read every single thing and can’t thank you guys enough for the support and ongoing support you have shown.”
In response, fans shared their own supportive messages to Patrick and his on-screen wife turned girlfriend Belinda Vickers in the comments.
“You seem like such a genuine soul Patrick and people are fans because of your honesty and integrity. You and Belinda touched our hearts and we are all so glad you are both so happy and still going strong. Happiness always hope you are both well,” one wrote.
“You were fantastic. I really enjoyed watching you, and the feet clapping thing was actually really funny. We’ve all had our awkward moments! Just made you more charming tbh,” remarked another.
“I loved the awkward feet clapping, it was the highlight of the season,” a third laughed.
Others couldn’t help but remark how handsome Patrick’s new smile is.
“Your teeth look amazing Patrick -so handsome,” one fan gushed.
“Great smile, terrific guy,” another stated.
One even penned: “Looking so good with the new smile. Reminds me of a young Patrick Dempsey.”

This year Married At First Sight ended with not one but three couples pursuing relationships in the real world.
Along with Johnny Balbuziente and Kerry Knight and Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson, Patrick and Belinda are very much still together and in love.
Earlier this month, Patrick shared a sweet photo of himself piggy-backing Belinda in the height of Melbourne’s fourth lockdown on a walk together.
“I guess reality TV can work,” he captioned the post.
