Her marriage to Cameron Dunne was disastrous to say the least, but Married At First Sight bride Samantha Harvey has found love with new boyfriend, Jesse.
This week, the former reality star, 31, shared her first official Instagram picture featuring her new man and since then, fans and followers have jumped at the chance to follow Jesse on the social media site.
On Thursday night, Sam took the opportunity to poke a little fun on her Instagram Stories and filmed Jesse as they watched the footy together.
“So how many followers do you have now? Because of who?” she teased.
Sam then laughed and told the camera, “someone’s blown up by a couple of hundred followers.”
The MAFS bride then asked: “What do you want to say to all your followers?” to which Jesse cheekily replied: “@sjkovu’s riding my coattails,” referring to Sam’s Instagram handle.
Not long after Sam and Jesse made their Instagram debut, fans congratulated the former reality star for finding love.
“Sam, you’re a genuine woman who deserves nothing but happiness,” one commented on the picture.
“Loverrrrrs!!! Yayeeee you deserve the best Sam x,” exclaimed another.
Some comments were even directed at Jesse.
“@jesseo27 please look after her… she’s beautiful and deserves the world…,” one fan wrote.
“Rude his profile is private and the fans do not appreciate this,” joked another.
In a previous chat with WHO ahead of the MAFS reunion airing, Sam gushed about her new man.
“My parents are crane drivers and I met him through them. We’re taking it slowly but he’s a great guy and I’m in a really good place right now,” she said.
However, Sam did admit that Jesse has a link to her TV groom, Cameron.
“Not long after we met, I told Jesse I’d be going on MAFS and it turns out he had worked with Cam, who’s also a crane rigger on a mine site in WA. It’s a small world, right?”
Though she and Cam hit it off on their wedding day, Sam’s TV marriage went downhill from the honeymoon.
The drama only intensified when Cam and co-star Coco Stedman embarked on a secret flirtation
“I now believe Cam wasn’t genuine from the start,” Sam confessed.
“I was really angry for a long time that he wasted my time on the show. I spent six months auditioning, I left my sons to take part and he wasted my only chance to be paired with a partner by three experts.”
However, Sam has found life-long friends thanks to the experiment.
“Getting to know some of the girls has been the best, they’ve really had my back. I have absolutely no regrets about taking part.”
