It’s not uncommon for partner swapping to occur on Married At First Sight. However, the latest and perhaps biggest reality TV scandal we’ve seen to date hasn’t been curated or welcomed by the show’s crafty producers.

On Monday, one of this season’s most controversial brides, Stacey Hampton, alleged Natasha Spencer “secretly hooked up” with her TV husband Mikey Pembroke’s dad, Andrew, during filming. Mikey’s parents separated when he was 10-years-old.
“Mikey said, ‘I’m pretty sure [Natasha] hooked up with my dad (or at least) I’m pretty sure she’s hooking up with my dad,” Stacey told New Idea in the latest issue of their magazine. “He was pretty certain. It wasn’t a joke.”
“When Natasha started coming at me, I said ‘hold on a minute … [Mikey] told me you slept with his dad’.”
While Stacey is adamant she knows what happened behind closed doors and is convinced they’re desperately trying to cover up the truth, both Natasha and Mikey— who were booted off MAFS— have vehemently denied the affair ever happened.
“She’s laughable, the lies that come out of her mouth. At the reunion you will see (Stacey) gets cornered in terms of lying, and she starts clutching at straws,” Mikey said about the rumour in a recent interview on KIIS FM’s The Kyle And Jackie O Show. “Why would I throw my own dad under the bus like that?” he questioned.
The Sydney-based operations manager also addressed the story on Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa show, angrily saying: “It’s not true – it’s ridiculous. Stacey and Natasha, now they’re best friends, but they weren’t friends during the show. This is peak season for throwing people under the bus, and obviously they’ve come together and it looks like they’ve come up with this story.”
Mikey went on to say his dad, who is a medical professional, is furious about being dragged into the show’s storyline.
Natasha also stated in a video obtained by New Idea: “Stacey’s made fake allegations and I understand she’s deflecting but that doesn’t give her the right to say I f–ked Mikey’s dad.”
