She won the MasterChef: Back To Win crown in 2020 and one year on, the good news keeps on coming! Emelia Jackson and her partner Craig Gersbach have welcomed their first child.
Taking to Instagram, the new mum revealed the first snap of her adorable newborn.
“In love in a way I never knew was possible,” Emelia sweetly captioned the photo shared to her stories.
Emelia announced her baby news back in December last year when she shared the first snap of her burgeoning bump.
“Excuse the toilet in the background but this baby is popping today.. Sous chef coming in June,” she captioned her announcement.
Needless to say, her MasterChef family was overjoyed by the news.
“Omg Milsy! Biggest congrats on the choux bun in the oven,” returning favourite Poh Ling Yeow commented.
“So bloody exciting! Bubba mills,” Brendan Pang noted.
“SHUT UP THIS IS AMAZING CONGRATULATIONS,” Rose Adam enthusiastically penned, along with several joyous emojis.
“OMG! Such happy news!! Congratulations on the little bun xx” added Courtney Roulston.
Throughout her pregnancy, Emelia kept fans updated with her journey via social media.
Fans went wild when the MasterChef star shared a cute snap of herself at the 2021 Australian Open with co-star and friend Reece Hignell.
“Nothing like a bit of @reecehignell time,” she sweetly captioned the shot.
Fans went wild to see the reality TV duo back together again as well as Emelia’s gorgeous bump.
“Nice photo you two that bump is growing Emelia,” one remarked.
“Cake Boi and Dessert Queen back at it again!” exclaimed another.
Emelia and her baby daddy Craig have been in a long-term relationship for some time but seeing as he often doesn’t appear on her social media, there aren’t many details about him on the Internet.
“He doesn’t feature much on my Facebook or Instagram mainly because I use that platform to promote my business more than anything,” Emelia previously explained to Now To Love.
Speaking of his sudden fame and title of the “mystery boyfriend” that came up when MasterChef: Back To Win was airing, Emelia remarked: “I found the whole thing very funny and I think he was quietly chuffed by it all as well – all his friends thought it was absolutely hilarious.”
Before her all-star win, Emelia was the second runner-up on season six of the hit cooking show, which was won by Brent Owens.
In a previous chat with WHO, the cake baker extraordinaire advised any budding contestants to be “as prepared as possible” and to “keep an eye on the food world”, but that despite the pressure, the MasterChef experience is an enjoyable one.
“Even not winning in season six was such an incredible and fun experience and you don’t really get to have that much fun as an adult very often. It’s like finding your group of people which is pretty rare,” she said.
