After delivering two of Timothée Chalamet’s most stand-out films, Call Me By Your Name and Bones & All, director Luca Guadagnino has teamed up with Timmy’s Dune co-star Zendaya for our new favourite sporting drama Challengers.
Joining the cast alongside Zendaya and The Crown’s Josh O’Connor is Broadway star Mike Faist, who joins Challengers as Tashi’s husband and rising tennis star Art Donaldson.
What movies and TV shows has Mike Faist appeared in?
Prior to his latest role as Art Donaldson in Challengers, Mike most famously starred as Riff in the movie adaptation of West Side Story alongside The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes star Rachel Zegler.
Mike also stars alongside Austin Butler in Jeff Nichols’ upcoming film The Bikeriders and notably stepped into the role of a leading man for the 2022 comedy-drama Pinball: The Man Who Saved the Game.
While he may have already made waves on the big screen, Mike is also an accomplished musical theatre performer, receiving a Grammy Award for his performance as Connor Murphy in the original Broadway production of Dear Evan Hansen.
Most recently, Mike appeared on the West End stage as Jack Twist in the 2023 London-based stage production of Brokeback Mountain.
