Artists Ida Jonsson and Simon Saarinen teamed up with fashion designer Beate Karlsson to create ‘The Bum’ – biker shorts inspired by Kim Kardashian that’s designed to function as shapewear, and is made from flexible silicone.
It’s not available for sale just yet, though – the first prototype currently weighs close to three kilos, and the designers are aiming to make it as lightweight as possible before selling it in limited quantities.
“We will probably use a mix of silicone, spandex and microfiber, but we’ve not fully decided on how the product will be materialised yet,” Karlsson told The New York Post.
The final product will cost between $670 to $890 – and while that’s pretty expensive, it’s still cheaper than implants or injections.
S infatuated with their bootys, at Christmas, Kim gifted her mother Kris Jenner and her sisters Kylie, Kendall, Khloe, and Kourtney with some high-intensity workout equipment that promises to “deliver fast, convenient, butt-blasting result.”
“I got my sisters and my mom a Christmas present but I got myself one too,” she said in a clip showing the DB Method machine packaged in two white boxes with a red bow on top. “I’m working out right now and I’m gonna open this and show you guys what I got them.”
“I hope my sisters and mom will like this!”

In another clip, Kardashian West recorded her trainer Melissa Alcantara giving the new fitness machine a try. ”
“God I feel it in my butt a lot,” her trainer said as she completed squats.
“They’re getting them today,” the KKW Beauty mogul concluded.
Kris went on to show a video of the machine and share her reaction to her new fitness gadget. “Kim, what in the world is in this huge box you just sent me?” she began. “This box is as big as I am. Oh my gosh.”
“Whoa Kim, this is so incredibly crazy. Is this a booty machine?” she concluded as she panned across the machine.
“Is this a bootie machine @kimkardashian?” she wrote on the final video.
