Grammy-nominated rapper Nipsey Hussle has been killed in a shooting at his LA retail outlet, in which two other people were also shot.
The Hussle & Motivate performer died outside the Marathon Clothing Company, which is located in the Hyde Park neighbourhood of Los Angeles.
‘Right around 3:20 this afternoon, there was a shooting that occurred at the 3400 block of West Slauson Avenue,’ a public information officer with the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed.
‘Three individuals, three victims were shot. They were taken to a local hospital. One of those victims died at the local hospital, the other two are listed in stable condition.’
‘The subject responsible for the shooting fled in some type of vehicle, but I do not have the information of the type of vehicle he fled in.’
Giving some insight into tension that apparently preceded the incident, Nipsey Hussle tweeted, ‘Having strong enemies is a blessing.’
