When you decide to fight for a man’s heart on The Bachelor, it apparently comes with certain rules.
One of those rules is: don’t call the main man a “dog c–t”
(Alright, strictly speaking, it’s not but maybe it should be going forward.)
Another rule is: don’t post anything on social media that’s non-Bach related or otherwise approved by the producers.
So imagine everyone’s surprise when contestant Rachael Arahill change her Instagram profile pic from her network-approved glam gown shot to a sexy bikini pic on Tuesday night.
While a Bachie lady tweaking her Insta profile might not seem like a huge deal, it’s actually a pretty major hint that this season’s villain is out of the house.
Rules around social media prevent the ladies from posting any content that isn’t pre-approved by Network Ten, and also prohibit them from interacting with fans and sharing non-Bachelor content until they’re no longer a part of the show. So Rachael’s new racy profile pic is a dead giveaway that she is gone, girl.
But did the 23-year-old, sadly, just not get a rose? Or is something far more dramatic afoot?
The spoiler comes on the back of several news outlets reporting that Rachael engaged in romance with members of the show’s crew.
“Rachael was into a cute producer named Tom, as well as one of the minders who was looking after everybody in the mansion,” a well-placed source told Daily Mail.
“She flirted with both of them and gushed that either one of them would make a great ‘plan B’ if things with Matt didn’t work out.”
Whether or not rumours of behind-the-scenes romance are true, Rachael also found herself deep in controversy when she sided with her friend Monique Morley during the now infamous dog c–t-gate. The blonde bombshell was kicked off the show last week amidst a lying and name-calling scandal (yes, you read that right – what are we, five) after an apparent joke she shared with Rachael got back to the man of the moment.
It all came to a head when Abbie told Matt that Monique called him a “disrespectful pig” and a “dog c–t” behind his back. Things later took a turn for the worse when 90 per cent of the girls in the Bachelor mansion confirmed Monique did, in fact, slam Matt behind his back, despite her claiming “those words never left my mouth”.
In the end, it was all too much for poor Matt’s heart to bear.
“At the end of the day, it’s not what Mon said that I’m having trouble with, it’s the lie,” he explained of his decision to walk the 26-year-old.
