The current season of The Bachelor hasn’t even finished yet, but already rumours are swirling about which contestants from the show will star on the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise.

According to the So Dramatic! podcast, several booted contestants from Locky Gilbert’s season, which is still airing on TV right now, have reportedly expressed interest in heading to Paradise.
Those ladies include Zoe-Clare McDonald, Charley Bond, Juliette Herrera, Laura Calleri, Leilani Vakaahi, Maddy Carver, Marg Zogoulas, Bel Colwell, Rosemary Sawtell and Roxi Kenny.
Some of the other Bachelor nation cast members rumoured to return to Paradise again include Paddy Colliar, Jackson Garlick and Renee Barrett.
Interestingly, both 2019 Bachelor and Bachelorette winners Chelsie McLeod and Carlin Sterritt, are rumoured to be heading to Paradise this year.
Mechanical engineer Chelsie found love with astrophysicist Matt Agnew on the show before the pair split whilst fitness trainer Carlin won Angie Kent’s heart but the two went through a messy break up this year.
Chelsie first gave fans a hint that she was about to star on BIP last week, after she posted a message on her private Facebook account announcing she looking to sublet her apartment over a three-month period later in the year.
“Is anybody interested in leasing a fully furnished apartment in Elwood for three months? October til December?” Chelsea wrote on Facebook last week.
Interestingly, Bachelor in Paradise is usually filmed over this same three-month period in summer.
If Carlin were to appear on the show, it certainly wouldn’t be the first time he’s been linked to one of the other programs in the Bachelor stable.
Carlin recently confessed that he originally auditioned to be the Bachelor himself, rather than as a contestant.
A friend sent in his application without him knowing and he was hand-picked by producers to be in the running for the big gig.
“He did it behind my back. I didn’t ask him to do it,” Carlin recently revealed on former Big Brother star Sophie Budack’s YouTube show Beyond The White Room.
“I got an audition for The Bachelor and from that process – and I didn’t get the Bachelor – but I met with a lot of the casting directors and producers. They sort of got to know who I was,” he added.
“So when The Bachelorette came to be, they pretty much gave me a call and said ‘Hey, did you want to just apply for this?’ and I said, ‘Sure!’”
According to entertainment website The Wash, Channel 10 has begun casting Bachelor in Paradise for 2021, with “key alumni (aka the bigger names)” already approached about signing on for this season.
But with COVID-19 restrictions prohibiting international travel and several states and territories enforcing strict border controls, just where filming will take place is yet to be confirmed.
“Noosa has been discussed as a potential location, depending on what happens with Queensland’s border and if they can get the cast and crew there,” an insider told the publication.
